Family Over Everything

One thing that you need to know about me in order to know me better is that I am very family oriented. My definition of family is a group of people that I trust, show loyalty to, love unconditionally, and the feeling is mutual. To me, family is not strictly based on blood relation. I believe that family comes before anything else. Family are the people that will support you no matter what and will always have your back. I am incredibly close with my family, especially my five year old sister, Ava. When I am down, feeling like I am stuck, my family is always there to help remind me of the positive in my life and how to smile on the rough days. I do not believe that I would be the person I am, nor would I be as successful in my life without my amazing family. I love with my heart and I know I can always count on them just like they love and count on me. 20171225_1209191_01.jpg20171031_1701461.jpgFB_IMG_1502408532116-11.jpg

  1. Alyssa, “Family Over Everything” offers a thoughtful introduction to you, focusing on the importance of family in your life. Editing to eliminate errors of punctuation as well as a relative pronoun error would strengthen the post. Also, consider adding captions for your photographs.

  2. Alyssa, since I don’t see a leave-a-reply option on your résumé page, I am posting my comments here: I hope that you will have an opportunity soon to use the résumé that you have crafted for class, and I encourage you to review it frequently and update it as needed. You should list your dean’s list recognition under the heading of Awards and Honors rather than Campus Involvement, and you should list your scholarships under Awards and Honors as well. Also, note that no space should appear before or after the en dash between dates.
